Chocolate! Chocolate! Chocolate!

Cake Chocolate

My husband wants a reese’s peanut butter cake but does not want the cake to be chocolate. Suggestions?

I already have an idea on how to make the frosting. I am just battling with how to make the cake. He will eat chocolate but not a lot and making the cake chocolate will be too much for him. I need other ideas on how to make the cake part. It can have chocolate in it but it cannot be fully chocolate.

You can add PB to a cake mix:
1 pkg. (1 lb. 3 1/2 oz.) yellow cake mix
2 eggs
1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
Preheat oven to 350° F. Lightly grease pan(s) and bake according to package directions.

For the frosting you can make PB frosting and sprinkle with mini chocolate chips for just a little chocolate flavor:
1/3 c. creamy peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. milk
2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
mini chocolate chips to taste
