Chocolate Fudge Cookies

Chocolate Fudge Cookies

Can I put pieces of fudge in Chocolate Chip Cookies as an add in, or would it taste funny?

I have some leftover fudge that’s really good, I was just wondering if it would taste as good in the cookies, or if it would change the flavor.
It’s maple walnut fudge, it’s really sweet.

Don’t chop it up and use it as chocolate chips. Instead, dice it into 1/4 inch cubes, and wrap the dough around the pieces, so when you bite into the cookie (or muffin, with 1/2″ pieces!) there will be a fudgy “surprise” that won’t leak chocolatey goodness all over your baking sheet.

Another option it to incorporate it into your brownies (probably your best bet). Just pour half the brownie batter into a greased pan, sprinkle on your chopped fudge, then pour the rest of the brownie batter over it. Those will be the best brownies of your life.
