Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

I’m baking oatmeal Chocolate Cookies..I need help?

I dont have stick butter and I was wondering if I used whipped butter by land o lakes would that be fine? Oh and its salted..Can I use cooking oil? Thanks for all your help:)

Whipped butter will work but you have to use a little bit more of it in the recipe (like 2 tbsp.) to compensate for the air that’s been incorporated into it. I wouldn’t suggest using oil. It will make your cookies taste greasy.
