Australia Canteen Food Compared to American Cafeteria Food?

I’m from Australia and would like to compare type of foods we recieve at our school compared to yours. I’v never quite understood what’s up with the American Caf food, What’s in the Mystery Meat?
Oh BTW canteen is what we call our “cafeteria”
FOODS I GET AT MY SCHOOL:
Pies, Chicken Strips, Pizza, Cheezies (Strips with Cheese on them), Potato Nuggets, Shortbread choc chip cookies with Chocolate, Chocolate Muffins ect ect. Jelly (Gelatine) Asorts of Ice creams, sausage rolls, Hot dogs, wedges, Fruit Salads other hot food that I can’t remember and Juices and stuff. We have no vending machines.
What foods do you get in America?.

Its pretty much the same.

By the way, at my school, in Australia, we have, every monday a BBQ and fresh salads.
