Chocolate Pecan Pie Bars

Can you sub LIGHT corn syrup for DARK corn syrup in a pecan pie bar?

The main ingred is boxed Chocolate Cake mix!

i’m pretty sure that you can. the only real difference is going to be the color. if it also calls for white sugar i would try to replace some with brown sugar and this might help with the missing color. good luck
