Did I miss something?
I am co-planning a baby shower for my sister-in-law with my mother-in-law. Really, my MIL is planning the shower, but I’m her little gopher, but I love stuff like this, so its ok.
I feel like the room isn’t going to be very festive. We have the following:
Tables
3 balloons (pink & chocolate brown) per table
centerpieces on table…glass bowls with chocolate brown candle & baby pink rose petals
favors, wrapped little baskets of chocolate, with pink ribbon
Wishing Well
I just took a basket and decorated it tastefully with chocolate brown & pink ribbon (do I need to make a sign or anythign that says “wishing well”?
That’s all we have. I don’t want to buy regular party signs, and I really don’t care how much $$ we spend, at this point, it doesn’t matter. Do you have any suggestions on how to tastefully decorate the restaurant room where the shower is?
It sounds lovely. Would the restaurant let you use your own table cloths over theirs? You could buy decorated ones or some that are in your color scheme. How about ribbons or bows you could tie or tape (if allowable) to the chairs?
I don’t know what a wishing well is, as far as showers are concerned. If it’s common to your area a sign might not be needed. Will it be a the reception table, if you’re doing one? If you are doing a reception table, that’s a good place to add decorations. Perhaps Flowers?
